Healing Grief

Look at the children now
they're praying
to a God they know,
they love Him so....
where will they be years from now?

I can remember when I was that young.
He was there.
Like a story book hero.

I took what He gave me all for granted.
Yet, He delivered me from my misery,
and gave me life.
A life that's worth knowing.

I know it seems hard to see
how He could be there when
it hurts so much inside.

But in all that your feeling now,
remember how He suffered too....
and He died.
His blood is the answer.

And now that His arms are reaching out to you,
don't turn Him away with your own pride!
Can't you see?
He is the strength you need
to live out your new life.
A life that's worth knowing.

Look at the children now
they are saying...
"You don't understand ...
wont hold their hand...
wont get them through
years from now."

I can remember when you were so strong
and full of life,
...or at least it seemed so.

You took what He gave you all for granted
and yet, He gave on and on
But life was gone
and dark and dim
frail and cold...

I know it seams hard to see
how He could be there when it hurts so much inside.
But in all of your pain within
your blamming Him...
He suffered too
and He died.
That blood is your answer.

And now that His arms are reaching out to you.
Don't turn Him away with your own pride.
Can't you see?
He is the strength you need to live out your new life.
A life thats worth knowing.

And now that His arms are reaching out to you,
you've nothing left but your own pride!
Can't you see that He is all you need
with all that is left of you inside...
His love is your answer.

Look at the children now...
they're praying.
